Bio

Ruby is an Australian basketballer currently playing for the Cockburn Cougars in the NBL1 West league.

Ruby has represented Australia at a junior level at under 17, 18 and 19 age groups – U17 World Cup Australian Sapphires team – Bronze Medal, U18 3×3 Asia Cup – Gold Medal and Youth Olympic Games 3×3 Team Australia Bronze Medal.

Ruby has also played Division One NCAA basketball spending two years on scholarship at the University of Nebraska – 2020 – 2022.

In the Women’s National Basketball League Ruby played with the Adelaide Lightning 2017 – 2019 and was a development player with the Bendigo Spirit in the 22/23 season.

Ruby played in the NBL1 North league in 2022 – 2024 representing the Darwin Salties where she won awards including Most Consistent Player and Defensive Player of the Year.

Off the court Ruby is a coach in the making with a keen interest in youth development and mentoring.
