Amber is the co-captain of the Australian Gliders and one of Australia’s most decorated and successful paralympians, with a long history of representing Australia since she was just 15. She has competed at 2 x Paralympics and won silver both at the 2012 London Games, and again at the inaugural 3×3 wheelchair basketball competition in the 2021 Commonwealth Games. This is on top of 6 World Championship appearances spanning from 2009 to the upcoming 2023 World Championships. She has also won the MVP of Asia Oceania Championships in 2017 and 2022, and in 2020 made the All Star 5. On top of this international representation, Amber also competes in the Womens National Wheelchair Basketball League who won the national title in 2013, 2016 and 2021, all whilst she was the captain. She has received 11 x awards for the top point scorer, 11 x all star 5 selection, and has twice been named the finals MVP and once the Season MVP. Off the court, Amber is a passionate advocate for people living with disability, especially children and those with an invisible disability. She loves collecting vintage garments, adventuring and learning to surf, as well as relaxing at home with her tea, family and partner. Following on from her certs in fitness and fashion, Amber is currently studying a Bachelors Degree in Communication in Media with a PR major, and working as the Communication and Content Manager at Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club.
