Georgia Nanscawen is a former Field Hockey Player for Australia. She retired in 2018 with 205 caps and scored 37 goals.
Georgia signed with North Melbourne AFLW in 2019 season, making her AFLW debut in the opening round. Georgia shortly joined Essendon VFLW program where she won the club’s best and fairest in 2019 and was made captain in 2021. Georgia was also named in the 2019 VFLW team of the year and awarded consecutive VFLW best and fairest Lambert-Pearce Medal in 2021 and 2022.
In 2023, Georgia did not miss a beat, returning in style and quickly becoming an integral part of the Essendon AFLW midfield.
In 2024, Georgia was nominated in the All-Australian squad and was runner-up in Essendon best and fairest.
In 2025, Georgia took her game to another level and won Essendon’s best and fairest.
