Hope is a Newcastle netball product who burst on to the SSN scene in 2025. Promoted from Training Partner to Replacement Player for the Giants, Hope impressed with her on court positioning, electric circle feeds and maturity. 2025 just kept getting better for Hope when she was selected in to the Australian U21 team to compete in the World Youth Cup in Gibraltar. The Australian team brought and end to a 16 year title drought by beating NZ to win the World Cup.
A crafty midcourter, White’s stellar year comes following a breakout 2024 campaign which saw the teenager represent the NSW U19s side where she was named the grand final MVP in the national championship's gold medal match.
One to watch for the future, Hope is looking forward to taking advantage of her first full time contract with the Giants in 2026 and is hoping to establish herself as a regular starter at SSN level. She's up for the challenge and if she continues to display her fearless and dynamic attacking play, she's surely going to continue her trajectory towards the top of the game.
