Jasmin Fejo

Jasmin Fejo is one of Australia’s most exciting dual-code female athletes who was balancing elite basketball and AFLW football with grace, grit and determination prior to signing with the Adelaide Lightning for the 25/26 WNBL season. Jasmin’s career reflects resilience, leadership and a strong cultural identity alongside steady professional development.

Known for her elite speed and first-step explosiveness, strong pick-and-roll orchestration, high defensive pressure and ball disruption and ability to penetrate and create scoring opportunities for teammates Jasmin is high impact with her game often being defined by energy and momentum-shifting defensive plays which make her a valuable presence. Playmaking instincts, defensive tenacity and a calm presence in high-pressure moments, Jasmin has built a respected profile across Australia’s domestic leagues.

A proud Larrakia woman, mother, and rising star Jasmin played for the Adelaide Lightning throughout the 2025/26 WNBL season. Her journey also includes two NBL1 championships, a Defensive Player of the Year title and recognition in the league’s All-Star Five, speaking to her rare versatility and relentless drive.

Jasmin is a three-time NBL1 Central Conference champion, first with West Adelaide Bearcats (2022) and later with Central Districts Lions (2024). In 2025, playing for the Woodville Warriors, Jasmin enjoyed a breakout season. Her defensive highlights included a seven-block game and multiple five-steal games. To end the 2025 NBL1 Central season, Jasmin played a key role in her teams championship victory, Jasmin’s 3 championship ring!

Jasmin’s outstanding performances across the season earned her three individual honors at the recent 2025 NBL1 Central Awards: Defensive Player of the Year, selection to the All-Star Five, and the Coaches’ Award. Another 2025 highlight includes selection to the Indigenous All-Stars team who defeated the Poitukohu Maori o Aotearoa All-Stars. Jasmin is signed to play with East Perth in the NBL1 West conference in 2026.
