Bio
A tall rangy shooter with the ability to shoot from anywhere, Lauren poses a threat both inside and outside the circle. Her elusive movement, speed and drives to the post create space for her team mates and draw defenders to her. Her silky moves make her a difficult opponent to defend.
Her debut season for the Thunderbirds was impressive, one that grew every game, culminating in a Player of the Match accolade in the Semi-Final that saw the Thunderbirds head directly to the Grand Final match. A Grand Final win and inclusion into the Australian Fast5 team in her first year as a contracted SSN player, it’s been a meteoric rise in 2024 for Lauren and looks set to continue for 2025 and beyond.
Of court Lauren is studying a double degree in Commerce and Law, no mean feet as a professional athlete. Balancing study and full-time training can be tough, but Lauren is up for the challenge and looking to continue her netball form in 2025 as a more established member of the Thunderbirds team.
