Lauryn is a New Zealander currently playing for Casey in the NBL1 South league.
Lauryn played four games for New Zealand at the 2021 Asia Cup, making a three with her first shot in international basketball against Japan.
In 2021/22 Lauryn was signed as a Development Player by Melbourne Boomers, competing in Australia’s Women’s National Basketball League.
Lauryn played two games for the Canterbury Wildcats in 2021 NBL before Covid shut down the league, and was the leading scorer at the inaugural NBL Schick 3×3 Cup in 2020 playing for Canterbury Wildcats.
Lauryn has also played in the USA, playing NCAA Division II basketball at Hawaii Pacific University in 2018-19.
Playing on the New Zealand team that won silver at the 2017 FIBA Oceania Championships in Guam, Lauryn averaged 9.6ppg.
Other awards include Team Runner-Up MVPNBL1 Casey Cavaliers in 2023, and 3×3 Asia Cup Silver Medalist in 2023 and 2024.
Lauryn also earned a basketball scholarship to study at Lincoln University, where she was studying for a Bachelor of Science (Food Science).
