A QLD Firebirds TP in 2023, she took the court 5 times as an injury replacement and immediately impressed with her maturity and ability to match it against more seasoned opponents. She scored 208 Nissan net points in her first 5 matches. Leesa uses her vision, speed and ability to thread the pass to create space in the attack and is a dogged defensive player. Leesa’s impressive footwork and ability to read the play make her a nightmare to defend and the gaolers love to play with her as she has great touch on the pass into the circle. Leesa has a bright future ahead.
