Bio
Selected in the U18 Vic Metro Team and winning the Northern Knights Best and Fairest, Maeve has already established a successful reputation in her junior years. Debuting with Melbourne Demons in 2022, tasting a glimpse of success in that same year, taking home the AFLW Premiership, Maeve is hungry for more and eager to achieve team success again.
An adaptability to transition from Half Back to Midfield, allows Maeve to use her deadly combination of speed and strength to her advantage in multiple ways on the field. Qualities of a future leader, shown through a high level of Football IQ, competitive flare, and the ability to remain composed under pressure, she is quickly becoming a critical part of Dee’s Line of Defence.
Maeve had a breakout 2024 season and was recognised with selection in the AFLW All-Australian squad, and placed 3rd in the club’s Best and Fairest count.
Maeve continued her dominate breakout season in 2025 and was recognised again with back-to-back selection in the AFLW All-Australian squad.
Outside of sport, Maeve has an interest in gardening, pottery, meditation/yoga, and reading, and hopes to pursue a career in Counselling in the future.
