After a very successful 2022 where Samantha jumped a PB of 6.70m and won the Australian National Championships, she is now ranked 2nd in Australia for long jump. She attended her first Commonwealth Games in 2022 where she finished 10th and this year will be competing in the NSW Open State Championship, the Sydney and Brisbane Track Classic and the Australian National Championships as she works her way towards qualifying for the World Championships and Paris 2024 Olympics. Samantha balances her training and competition committments with a role as a part time sports administrator at Meriden school following her Associate Diploma in Sports Business. She’s passionate about mental health awareness and has a keen interest in agriculture, animals and farming.
