I consider it a real privilege to play sport, especially at an elite level. Sporting organisations from grass-roots all the way to the professional levels are pillars of the community, and sport is consequently such a potent vehicle for societal change. My goals on the court and field are directed towards personal growth and team performance, but equally important to me is using the opportunity of a wider public platform to make genuine, positive impact.

Bio
Initially signed by Richmond Tigers as a cross-code athlete in 2022, Saraid is now part of the 2022 premiership side Melbourne Demons for the upcoming AFLW season. Saraid previously played in the WNBL for the Southside Flyers.
With excellent endurance, anticipation, speed, competitiveness and agility, Saraid is sure to make an impact on the AFLW competition as she continues from strength to strength.
Outside of AFLW, Saraid is an author and screenwriter and is passionate about using her opportunity of a wider public platform to make genuine and positive impact.
