It has brought together entire communities and thereby has allowed me to gain opportunities I never would have dreamt of experiencing. Through that, I have met an array of people and developed life long friendships that I am forever grateful for.

Bio

Born and raised in Rockingham, Western Australia, Taneale grew up with a large and loving family. Described as an honest, caring, hardworking and ambitious person, she also has a great sense of humour and is highly regarded by her closest friends, family and fellow teammates.

Taneale’s cricket journey began at 14 and she has never looked back. She has excelled in both indoor and outdoor cricket with her most recent achievements being with the WA Women and winning the WNCL Championship in 2019/20. Then shortly after, winning the WBBL|07 Championship with the Perth Scorchers.

Taneale has experienced continued success over her career including being selected to represent Australia A in 2020, awarded the Western Fury Female Rising Star Award in 2017-2018 and representing Australia in 3 Indoor Cricket World Cups and Western Australia in the Open Women’s Indoor Cricket Team.

Taneale is among WA’s most experienced bowlers, but has proven herself to be a hard-hitting batter who enjoys every opportunity to take to the crease. Having played for Western Australia her entire career, Taneale is a unique female cricketer that has shown loyalty to her club, hometown and is a role model for aspiring young cricketers in WA.
