The recent Collective Player Agreement (CPA) between Netball Australia and the Australian Netball Players’ Association has reshaped how netballer’s are valued.
Key wins include:
- A revenue-sharing model for Diamonds players — a first in netball
- A 40% average pay increase over three years
- Investment in player wellbeing, transition support, and ambassador opportunities
This deal brings netball in line with other professional sports, recognising that elite players aren’t just employees, they’re central to the product and its success.
